Badminton England - RULES |
Your attention is drawn to the following rules of Badminton
concerning “speed” of shuttle and continuous play.
Shuttle

the back boundary line. The shuttle
shall be hit at an upward angle and in a direction parallel to the side lines.
4.4.2 A shuttle of
correct pace will land not less than 530mm. (21 in.) and not more than 990mm.
(39 in.) short of the other boundary line.
(This means that a shuttle of correct speed for a hall
should land within 9 in. of either side of the long service line for doubles).
Synthetic
Shuttles approved by the League:-
Yonex Mavis 300 Range (300, 350 or 370).
Continuous

place at 14 - all,
still setting to 3 points.
