BH Pegasus, Hurst and Waverley clubs will definitely be running Summer Clubs until the end of August. There is the possibility that Sherpas may do so also. Details about these Summer Clubs may be obtained from their secretariesLadies

28/04/05 Sherpas
finished their season in the Ladies 4 Division of the Ian Dewar
(Castlegate Investments) sponsored league with a 4/2 victory over BH
Pegasus at the Sports Centre to emphasis their position.
They have dominated this division since it’s inception. All four of their ladies, Hayley Kopp, Stephanie Matthews,
Cheryl Matthews and Liz Firth took part in two winning partnerships in
this encounter. Each of the
home team, Lesley Acheson, Amanda Marsden, Emy Davies and Norma Scott
participated in one winning doubles.
In the final match in the Ladies 6 Division Beechdown managed a 5/4 win
against a two pair Waynflete side at Winchester.
The two home pairs, Caroline Barter/Sarah Impey and Helen
Davies/Claire Beckett won two rubbers while Ruth Seward and Andrea Hill
won the two for the visitors
Mens Match Report 28/04/05 Divisions 2, 3, and 4 have been completed but there is still one card outstanding.from Division 1.
Mixed Match Report 28/04/05 Basing Cavaliers’ 6/3 defeat at the hands of leaders Waverley A leaves them with 62 points while Waverley B on 58 points have still one match in hand to settle the second promotion spot in Mixed Division 4. Andrew Dance/Jan Hall, Martin Cresswell/Sheila Weston and Steve Gaunt/Judith Lillis each won one rubber for the Cavaliers at Old Basing. Both Michael Lee/Debbie Symes and Richard James/Sandra Jennings recorded maxima for Waverley A. The other match in the division between Sherpas B and Aldermaston B finished with the same score line. The visitors, Aldermaston B were the winners with Paul Roper/Emily Eadington scoring a maximum supported by two rubbers from Rod Jenkins/Lucinda Blain and one from Ben Coapes/Joan Vinall. Mark Iredale/Eve Bielby won two rubbers for Sherpas B complemented by one from Mengkang Peng/Liz Firth.
