Ladies Match Report 21/04/06   In the last ladies match of the season in the Ian Dewar sponsored league LoddonSherpas just pipped Beechdown for second place by one point after a 5/4 victory at Winchester Road leaving last season’s champions BH Pegasus one point further behind in fourth position..  Caroline Thompson/Eve Bielby and Hayley Kopp/Liz Firth won one rubber each for the winning visitors and Stephanie/Cheryl Matthews got a maximum to complete the narrow victory.  Andrea Hill/Ruth Seward and Sandra Smith/Karen Southwell both won two rubbers for Beechdown.

Mens Match Report - 21/04/06  Viking Mens B emulated the success of their A side by winning Division 2.  They were undefeated all season only dropping 11 rubbers during their 12 matches with their last result a 9/0 home defeat of Hurst.  The winning team was Graeme Berry/Scott Wilkins, Simon Williamson/Jon Thomson and Neil Hodges/Steve Ineson.

Division 3 has still to be completed although Phoenix A (77) having just beaten LoddonSherpas B 9/0 are assured of at least the second promotion spot.  They can still be overtaken by Andover (73) who have two results outstanding and one match to play.  Tim Little/Matthew Savastang, Matthew Hawkins/Peter Ebbage and Tim Pink/Paul Nightingale were the Phoenix A winning combinations.

Mixed Match Report - 21/04/06   BH Pegasus A in Mixed Division 1 beat visiting Andover Sports A 7/2 at the Sports Centre.  Jonathan Phillips and Lesley Acheson and David Burrell/Kim Street both won three rubbers for the home team supported by one from Martin Hill/Amanda Marsden.  Shaun McDonald/Liz Roberts and Tim Hunt/Pauline Prior recorded one each for the losers.  This result assures BH Pegasus A of third place while Andover Sports A will have to settle for a safe fourth position.  A 5/4 defeat by Beechdown C at Winchester Road still gave Waverley A sufficient points to reach third place in the table whilst their opponents finished 1 point adrift in fourth position and may be relegated.  Paul Deed/Debbie Watkins set up the home win by taking all three of their rubbers with Tim Williams/Jan McDonald getting the other two.  Adam Bridgen/Christine Fowler won two rubbers for Waverley A supported by one each from Richard James/Haylie Fox and Colin Huntley/Debbie Symes.
