Ladies Match Report - 20/01/06 Sisters Stephanie and Cheryl Matthews won their three rubbers for LoddonSherpas in the Ladies 6 Division of the Ian Dewar (Castlegate Investments) sponsored league as did Hayley Kopp and Jane Simnet when they beat Andover Sports 6/3 at Andover to record only their second victory of the season.  Each of the home pairings, Pauline Prior/Sandra McDonald, Val Wheeler/Ellen Dennett and Anita Haskin/Liz Jones won one rubber.

Mens Match Report - 20/01/06  In the inter-club match in Mens Division 1, Andover Sports A recorded a 7/2 win over their own B side.  Nick Gladwin/Geriant Griffiths and Peter Cowmeadow/Graham Woodrow won a rubber each for the losers with Emerson Cumberbatch/Shaun McDonald getting a maximum for the A team supported by two each from Chris Clarke/Ian Swatton and Damien Roberts/Peter Hatfield.  Peter Seward and Neil Marie won their three rubbers for Beechdown A in the clash with BH Pegasus A at the Sports Centre.  Daniel Sheppard/Mick Cummings and Martin Webb/Mark Bayliss won two rubbers each to record a 7/2 victory for the visitors. David Burrell and Martin Davey won one rubber for the home team as did Kevin Harris/Prasanth Kumaran.

With only two pairs, visiting BH Pegasus B were still able to post a 6/3 victory over Alresford in Division 2.  Their two pairs, Steve Glover/Dale Turpin and Alex Groom/Kevin Harris won all their three rubbers to keep their side well in contention for the second promotion spot in the division behind Viking B. 

In Division 3, Whitchurch, at home to Andover, were only able to put out two pairs and lost 9/0.  The successful Andover pairs were Chris Woodgate/Geoff Lewis, Ivor Brojek/Colin McIntyre and Alan Dixon/Paul Fletcher. 

Mixed Match Report - 20/01/06 The only match reported in the Mixed section saw a tight battle between the Viking B and C teams in Division 2 end in a narrow 5/4 win for the former.  Ian Shoard/Ruth Cairns and Neil Hodges/Diane Cooper both won two rubbers for the beaten C team while Scott Wilkins/Jane Halls and Graeme Berry/Ruth Seward won two each for the winning B team supported by one from Chris Powell/Rachel Phillips.
