Ladies Match Report - 17/03/06 Although BH Pegasus ladies in the Ladies 6 Division beat Andover Sports 5/4 at Andover in the Ian Dewar sponsored league it does not seem likely that they will be able to retain the trophy which they won for the second year in succession last season.  The victory puts them in second place in the table 4 points behind leaders Viking who have a match in hand, with Beechdown, in third place, a further 8 points in arrears. Beechdown have 3 matches to finish their programme, BH Pegasus 1 and Viking 2.  Pauline Prior/Sandra McDonald won two of the Andover Sports rubbers complimented by one each from Ellen Dennett/Val Wheeler and Liz Roberts/Anita Haskin.  Kim Street and Lesley Acheson won a maximum for the visiting winners supported by two from Amanda Marsden/Linda Rapacioli.

The BH Pegasus ladies later made amends by winning their last two matches in the Ladies 4 Division and with them the Division.  Lesley Acheson, Amanda Marsden, Kim Street and Jean Deverill made up the team which firstly beat Beechdown 6/0 at Winchester Road.  In the second match Lesley accompanied this time by Doreen Quilter, Jenny Skilton and Laura Stella beat Phoenix 5/1 at the Sports Centre.  Avril Mason and Alison Rendall were the only successful pair for the losers.
