Mens Matches 25/10/07  In a match played back in September, father and son, Carlo/Milo Rapacioli won the two rubbers for Viking Mens B when they lost 7/2 to their A side in Division 1.  Scott Wilkins/Graeme Berry won a treble with Chris Powell/Vince Yong and Tony Coombes/Damon Short getting two rubbers each for the winners.  Later Viking B lost again, this time 5/4 to visiting Andover Sports A.  Carlo and Milo won two of the loser’s rubbers with Simon Williamson/Stuart Cheng and Vice Yong/Neil Hodges securing one each.  Damien Roberts/Tim Hunt scored a maximum for Andover Sports A supported by two rubbers from Shaun McDonald/Emerson Cumberbatch. 

Firefly got their first win when they beat a two pair BH Pegasus C 6/3 at the Hurst in Division 2.  Each of their three pairs, Steve Webb/John Weston, Colin Pink/Mick Turrell and Phil Pike/Basil Slann won one rubber.  1^st visiting pair, James Skilton and Dale Turpin won the three rubbers for their team.  

In Division 3 Alresford beat Whitchurch 7/2 at Whitchurch with both Bob Thirkell/Ben Webb and Ralph Pointer/John Read winning maxima followed by one rubber from Nigel Butcher/Mark Webb.  Peter Askew and Stuart Gordon won one rubber for the home side as did Joe Clark/Mark Loader.  Phoenix B were unable to field teams to play Aldermaston and later Hurst in the same division and conceded the points.  

 Mixed Matches 25/10/07   BH Pegasus A accounted for their B side with a 7/2 scoreline in Mixed Division 1.  Both David Gough/Sue Lorrain and David Burrell/Anu Davies won maxima for the winners with the seventh rubber coming from Martin Hill/Amanda Marsden.  Prasanth Kumara/Doreen Quilter and Richard O’Kelly/Jenny Skilton won a rubber each for the losers.    In the same division Viking A helped by a treble from Scott Wilkins/Alison Crawford beat St Marys 6/3 at Newbury.  Tim Cooper/Ingrid Hart won two rubbers and Tony Coombes /Sarah Haddow one to complete the victors scoring.  Mark Ferguson /Margaret Mason recorded two rubbers for the home side supplemented by one from Peter Braithwaite/Val Leaver.  

James Skilton/Nicky Major won one rubber complimented by maxima from Dale Turpin/Jean Deverill and Steve Glover/Haylie Fox when BH Pegasus C beat Waverley A at the Sports Centre in Division 2.  Ian Aherne/Jo Berry and Keith Miles/Gill Trimmer won one rubber each for the losers. 

Glynn Libberton/Sandra Page, David Lowe/Rhian Jenkins and Chris Apsey/Sue Richardson were the three Aldermaston A pairs which defeated Beechdown C 9/0 in Division 3 at Aldermaston. 

Tim Pink and Wendy Mason were the only successful pair for the home side when Phoenix B lost 8/1 to Aldermaston B at Sherfield School in Division 4.  Ben Coapes/Pippa Dines and Rod Jenkins/Lisa Apsey both scored maxima for the winners supported by two rubbers from Neil Hince/Sally Jenkins.
