Mens Matches 19/10/07  A two pair BH Pegasus C team managed to get 4 points when they played Beechdown A at the Sports Centre in Mens Division 2.  1^st pair, Steve Glover and James Skilton won a maximum for the home side while Jon Brooks/Mark Chapple supplied the remaining rubber.  Daniel Sheppard/James Bartlett and Mark Bayliss/Martin Webb each won one rubber for the visitors.  In the same division Chris and Ian Young led LoddonSherpas A to a 6/3 away victory against Waverley by winning all their three rubbers.  Phil Hood/Mark Gentry won two rubbers for the victors and Jamie Webb/Mitchell Hockley got the sixth.  Adam Bridgen/Keith Miles recorded two rubbers for the losing home side with Ian Aherne/Peter Bevell supplying the third

Beechdown B in Division 3 have had two successive 8/1 wins.  In the first, at Winchester Road, they overcame Hurst with David Ord/Nigel Appleton the only visiting pair to record a rubber.  Neil Marie/Tim Jefferies and Bruce Scott/Martin Webb both won maxima for the winners with Tim Williams/Nick Jones getting the other two.  Jamie Webb/Anthony Jubert were the only winners for LoddonSherpas B in their 8/1 defeat by visiting Beechdown B.  In this match, Bruce Scott partnered by Keith Dawson won two rubbers while both Nick Jones/Simon Johnson and Steve Nolan/Tim Williams won maxima.  These two victories give the Beechdown side a very good start to the season

 Mixed Matches 19/10/07 Viking Mixed B took three valuable points from their A side when the two teams met in their first matches of the season.  Scott Wilkins/Alison Crawford won their three rubbers for the A team supported by two from Tim Cooper/Ingrid Hart and one from Tony Coombes/Juliet MacAskill.   Husband and wife Carlo/Linda Rapacoili won two of the B team’s rubbers with Milo Rapacioli/Julie Shawley getting the third. 

 BH Pegasus C visited LoddonSherpas A in Division2 and came away 5/4 victors.  Dale Turpin/Jean Deverill and James Skilton/Nicky Major both won two rubbers for the winners supported by one from Steve Glover/Hayley Fox.  Chris Young/Cheryl Matthews won two rubbers for the home losers with Ian Young/Sue Evans and Phil Hood/Becky Hall contributing one each.  Viking C started their season with two 5/4 defeats.  The first was against Waverley A when Milo Rapacioli/Diane Cooper and Neil Hodges/Sophia Rapacioli each won two rubbers for Viking C.  Ian Aherne/Jo Berry won two rubbers for the winners as did Keith Miles/Gill Trimmer supported by one from Adam Bridgen/Caroline Rodbourne.  Vince Yong/Ruth Cairns won two rubbers, Neil Hodges/Sophia Rapacioli and Milo Rapacioli/Sara Haddow one each when Viking C lost at home to Beechdown B.  Mark Bayliss/Cathryn Perkins scored a maximum for the winners with Simon Johnson/Kate Appleton and James Bartlett/Sandra Smith winning one each. Neil Marie/Andrea Hill and Martin Webb/Hayley Kopp won maxima when Beechdown A beat LoddonSherpas a 8/1 at Winchester Road.  Daniel Sheppard/Karen Southwell supplied the other two. Chris Young and Cheryl Matthews were the solitary winners for the visitors.  

A maximum from Greg Sudell/Alison Rendall helped Phoenix A to defeat visiting Andover 5/4 in Division 3 The other two home pairs, Paul Nightingale/Carolyn Neale and Matthews Hawkins/Samantha Taylor won one each.  Alan Dixon/Karen Causley and Geoff Lewis/Louise Phillips won two rubbers each for Andover.  

In Division 4, Aldermaston B accounted for LoddonSherpas B with a 5/4 scoreline.  Ben Coapes/Pippa dines won two of the winner’s  rubbers as did Rod/Sally Jenkins supported by one from Graham page/Lisa Apsey.  Paul Bonner and Carolie Thompson won two of the home rubbers with Mitchell Hockley/Jane Vickers and Mark Gentry/Liz Firth getting one each.
