After their second series of matches in National Division A the Hampshire 1st team finished in sixth place in the table with 28 points.  They lost 8/2 to leaders Yorkshire, 6/4 to Glasgow & North Strathclyde and then beat Buckinghamshire 7/3 on the Sunday.  Buckinghamshire are still in the bottom position and already seem doomed for relegation.

The 2nd team did not have a very good weekend, finally finishing in 9th place in the table and will have quite a struggle, over the last weekend, to improve their present position.
